Newest eReader Prices for Nook and Kindle

in eReader News

Both Nook and Kindle have come up with amazing ways to make their ebook readers stand out from each other, while still satisfying the readers who use their ebook reading devices.

The newest versions of both the Nook and Kindle have features that make each of them unique and awesome. At the moment, I’m a Nook user, but I’ve got my eye on a Kindle too. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to own two ebook readers but I find myself tempted nonetheless.

Image of Kindle and Kindle 3G The Kindle with special offers is priced at only $114 at the moment (price could change at any time). This is a record low price and the reason Amazon is offering the Kindle at this price is because of the sponsored screensavers where special offers appear. The Kindle 3G has also had its price lowered if you don’t mind the special offers. You can also still get the Kindle without the special offers for a slightly higher price.

Newest Nook The Nook from Barnes and Noble is now a full fledged touch screen device. This device runs about $139 and has Wi-Fi so it can connect to your home network (or take advantage of free Wi-Fi). The battery life is amazingly good, while the e-ink screen makes this device perfect for outdoor reading.

Nook Color What makes the Nook Color special is that it has features that allow for internet browsing, email, and apps in addition to being primarily a full featured ebook reader. This multi-functionality makes this device highly useful while still being cheaper than just about any other alternative out there that comes in a tablet/handheld form and has the same functionality.
