Quicksilver is the 11th book of Jayne Ann Krentz, Amanda Quick, Jayne Castle’s Arcane Society series. About the Arcane Society and Jones & Jones, the series centers around psychics and paranormal detectives who must keep dangerous people from abusing their psychic abilities and using them to do evil.

The Looking Glass Trilogy focuses on glasslight and the paranormal forces that can be harness by mirrors and glass to harm others. In Too Deep (Jayne Ann Krentz) was the first book in the Looking Glass Trilogy.

If you enjoy mystery, paranormal, and romance, these books are sure to please you, with a focus on detective stories, strong men, quirky women, and love forever after. :) Amanda Quick is my favorite Jayne Krentz pen name, and I’ve always had a special fondness for her heroes and historical settings. About Quicksilver: An Arcane Society Novel

Virginia Dean wakes at midnight beside a dead body, a bloody knife in her hand and no memory of how it happened. Dark energy, emanating from the mirrors lining the room, overpowers her senses. With no apparent way in or out, she is rescued by Owen Sweetwater, a man she has met only once before, but won’t soon forget.

Owen Sweetwater inherited his family’s talent for hunting the psychical monsters who prey on London’s women and children, and his investigation into the deaths of two glass-readers has led him here. The high-society types of the exclusive Arcane Society would consider Virginia an illusionist, a charlatan, even a criminal, but Owen knows better. Virginia’s powers are real and they just might be the key to solving this challenging case.
