Fiction Writing

General Writing Resources

Some writing advice transcends fiction genres

Composing sentences, paragraphs and chapters in an effective manner can make anyone's work stand out.

Many authors need inspiration and motivation, regardless of the genre of fiction that the author has chosen to write.

Writers' resources are often non-specific when it comes to the type of writing with the exception of the significant differences between fiction and non-fiction. Those non-specific resources are the focus of this section of the site.

A good piece of writing advice usually applies regardless of genre. Need reference books? Need a history lesson? Need motivation and coaching? None of these depend of what genre of fiction you're writing.
